Founded by Christopher Day in 1987, this was the UK's first dedicated centre for the delivery of holistic, natural
and alternative (complementary) medicine for animals of all species, breeds and types.
At the AVMC, we have striven for more than 20 years for the well-being and welfare of our patients, offering
a range of therapeutic options to suit the individual and circumstance. The principal, Christopher Day, is a homeopathic vet
and holistic vet with over 35 years of experience in the field.
We hold consultation sessions at the premises (usually on Mondays and Thursdays) and we travel widely in the
UK on the other days, to visit animals, including horses, ponies, farm animals, buffalo, reindeer, dogs, cats, donkeys, goats,
ferrets and birds, at their home location.
