At the AVMC, we have striven for more than 25 years for the well-being and welfare of our patients, offering a range of therapeutic options to suit the individual and circumstance. The principal, Christopher Day, is a homeopathic vet and holistic vet with over 40 years of experience in the field.

We hold homeopathic (veterinary homeopathy) consultation sessions at the premises (usually on Mondays and Thursdays) and we travel widely in the UK on the other days, to visit animals, including horses, ponies, farm animals, buffalo, reindeer, dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, ferrets and birds, at their home location.

Homeopathic vet on the internet: the homeopathic vet at the AVMC offers on-line video consultations in VETERINARY HOMEOPATHY for those who are too distant from us, those who live abroad or those who cannot travel to us for other reasons. This service is in support of local veterinary services and is available for horses, dogs, cats and other species. We can offer homeopathic vet treatment, herbal treatment and other medical therapies via this route but cannot, of course offer chiropractic manipulation or acupuncture by video link.

We run a major information site at: www.alternativevet.org.  This site describes the various alternative therapies offered (vet homeopathy, vet acupuncture, vet herbal medicine [herbs], chiropractic manipulation, natural feeding etc.), discusses many issues relating to animals and animal welfare and explains the work of the AVMC in some detail.
